I grew up in Birmingham and moved to Bristol to study medicine in 1987. I completed my GP training in Bath and fell in love with the city and have remained here ever since. My special interests are patients with learning difficulties and the sensory impaired and I also particularly enjoy child health. When not working at the surgery I am passionate about swimming and can be found ploughing up and down the university pool. I also love to walk my two dogs in the beautiful Bath countryside with my husband and 3 teenage children.

I graduated in 1997 from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. I undertook hospital training in general medicine for a number of years and subsequently trained and qualified as a GP in 2003. I went on to become a GP trainer. I have particular interests in gastroenterology and men’s health. I enjoy running and hillwalking.

I was born and grew up in Cambridge, and first studied for a Biology degree at Edinburgh University. After a career change, I went to Southampton to study Medicine. I qualified in 1998, and then trained to become a GP here in Bath. I found myself very happy to stay in the area and I was lucky enough to join the team at St. Michael’s, first as a locum GP in 2012 and then as a Partner in 2017. I have interests in Elderly Care, Baby and Maternal Health, and Mental Health problems. I enjoy spending free time with my three children and our host of pets, and playing violin in a number of different musical groups in and around the city.

I trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ medical school in London and qualified in 2008. Following my hospital posts I completed my GP training in Bath in 2013. I did my final year of training at St Michaels and have stayed there ever since! I became a partner in 2016, my areas of special interest are Women’s health and contraception, I also perform minor operations, joint injections and train Bristol medical students. I have 2 young daughters and enjoy spending time with my family.

I qualified in medicine in 2007 and worked in Bath and Wiltshire for several years prior to joining St Michael’s as a GP partner in 2018. I have particular interests in clinical informatics, teaching and clinical research and I lead the Minerva research group. I perform selected joint injections. When not in clinic I enjoy software development and walks in the countryside.

I qualified as a doctor in London in 2004 but always planned to return to the West Country, where I grew up. I completed my GP training at St Michael’s in 2008 and have worked here ever since. I have an interest in Women’s Health and run a coil and implant clinic. I am also a GP Appraiser, GMC Fitness to Practice Trainer and Team Leader, NHS Complaint Reviewer and Mum to five children. In my spare time I am usually found on my bicycle trying to improve my times up the hills of Bath or baking all sorts of cakes and goodies for the family.

I qualified as a GP in 2011 in Bristol. Then worked in Bristol for 5 years before moving to Bath. I have an interest in women’s health, contraception, HRT and fit coils and implants. I can also administer joint injections for conditions such as arthritis and frozen shoulder.

Clinical Director, Minerva Primary Care Network

After finishing his GP training in 2003, Sam joined Combe Down Surgery in Bath as a partner and has been there for the last 16 years. His clinical interests include GP training, respiratory disease and dermatology.

Sam, who’s the proud father to two teenagers, enjoys playing the drums, loves running, and volunteers at the National Children's Music Camps most years.

Clinically, Sam is based with Combe Down Surgery, where he is a GP partner.  Sam works closely with all the Minerva practices is his role as Clinical Director for Minerva Primary Care Network.
